Natalia Moussienko

Natalia Moussienko is a leading research fellow at the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (Kyiv). Her research focuses on art and cultural heritage in times of war. She is the author of numerous books and articles on art history, cultural diplomacy, cinema, and urbanism, including Art of Maidan (2016), Kyiv Art Space (2013), and Arts and Politics (2002). Moussienko is the initiator and curator of Art of Maidan, an ongoing project launched in 2014 to document the explosion of artistic creativity during the Revolution of Dignity in 2013–2014, and since then displayed at 20 various locations such as universities and museums in Ukraine, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
