Subversive Affirmation ist keine affirmative Kritik. Subversive Affirmation ist ein künstlerisches und aktivistisches Verfahren, das die Kräfte des Affirmativen nutzt, allerdings nicht nur, um Negation als einzige Praxis von Kritik abzulösen, sondern um alle Varianten von Zustimmung, auch ihre zerstörerische und (auto-)repressive Kraft, zu erkunden.
